ABOUT EMMA:

Emma Farrarons is a best-selling author-illustrator whose Mindfulness Colouring series has helped a million people worldwide find calm and creativity. Based in South London, she carries a sketchbook everywhere, capturing life—on the commute, outdoors, and especially her children—turning everyday moments into inspiration for her stories.

Born in Cebu, Philippines, Emma moved to Paris as a baby. Her fondest childhood memories include perching on a trolley in a hypermarket bookshop, engrossed in the adventures of Asterix and Obelix with her brothers while her mother tackled the weekly shop.

Emma spent over 16 years designing picture books at Macmillan Children’s Books before taking the leap to focus entirely on illustration. Her debut picture book, My Hair is as Long as a River, created with author Charlie Castle, was published in May 2024 and longlisted for the 2025 Klaus Flugge Award. She is currently working on exciting projects with Simon & Schuster, Rocket Bird Books, and Walker Books while exploring her newfound love of Riso printing.
